IOM3 (Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining)
Responsible for managing a portfolio of 16 STEM-related research journals. Reporting to the Head of Content, my role centres on the following primary duties:
- Managing the relationship with the journal publishing partner, Sage, to assist with ideas for developing new journals relating to materials, minerals and mining with an emphasis on open-access publication.
- Working with Sage to boost existing portfolio journals to continuously improve and maintain market relevance, revenue and journal quality.
- As part of the wider Content team, involvement in producing and coordinating the production of other content-related activities such as articles, podcasts and videos etc.

Oxford Global Conferences is an events company focused on accelerating success in the Life Sciences.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Managing the entire content strategy of digital editorial department
-Leading an editorial team of up to 3 junior editors/assistants and overseeing department-wide staff training
-Interviewing key opinion leaders as well as producing, hosting, and reporting on monthly industry-led Discussion Groups
-Supporting the Director of Content in achieving editorial commercial revenue and engagement targets
-Implementing new editorial products; successfully increased web engagement by 179% with introduction of bi-weekly ‘Industry Spotlight’ feature
-Widening the visibility of news features through marketing activities such as social media engagement, conducting SEO, and newsletter production

The International Journal of Culture and History (IJCH) is an international academic journal publishing papers on state-of-the-art Culture and History. As a board member I edit and review approximately two manuscripts a month.

International Journal of English and Comparative Literary Studies
This is an open access and double-blind peer-reviewed journal, focusing on research that engages with translation in comparative literature, diaspora literature, world literature, and critical theory. I proofread, edit, and format submissions to this bi-monthly publication. Other duties include fact-checking and overseeing the accurate use of MLA formatting.

The Teen Magazine is an online magazine and media company that provides mentorship to aspiring writers and provides them with a platform to build their portfolio. Using CKeditor plugin, I had to edit, proofread, and format article submissions.

The University of Edinburgh’s FORUM journal is a peer-reviewed publication for postgraduate students working in the humanities. This open access journal followed a strict review process that required a high level of accuracy, in-depth knowledge of MLA formatting and excellent critical thinking skills. I reviewed for Issues 27 and 28 and published research papers in Issues 28, 29 and 30.

Words Matter is the official blog and website for York St John University’s English Literature department. I was headhunted for the role of Sub-Editor after working as a staff writer. I had to proofread, edit, and format articles using WordPress Editor and played an instrumental role in establishing the ‘Dissertation Corner’ feature.
